intense coverage about the election chaos in kenya has eclipsed updates about the violence in chad. and i have wondered why.... because this isn't the norm for kenya? has the world become so accustomed to the fighting in chad? what does this mean about our development, our own prejudices, and our beliefs?
the issues in chad have been thrown to the wayside. i suppose using the word "genocide" for the conflict in darfur will do that.

YEEAAAHHHHH E is back!
sadly, yes, I think it's because Chad has a longer history of unrest that it's become the norm for that nation.
